Pumpkin seeds are slowly roasted creating a complex and nutty oil. The Roasted Pumpkin Seed Oil is quite pungent and has a bold flavor. A delicate oil and can be heated to a MAXIMUM of 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Great as a finishing oil on roasted root vegetables, hearty salad dressings, and even as a dipping oil for freshly baked harvest bread. Carries a deep mahogany color and taste reminiscent of sesame and a savory, umami flavor with silky finish. It is high in mono- and poly-unsaturated fats, cholesterol-free and has zero hydrogenated fats, artificial preservatives or colors.
Tasting Notes:A savory complement to salads, grilled vegetables, sautéed leafy greens, or oven roasted fish. Also a rich, distinctive alternative to extra virgin olive oil in vinaigrettes.
