Spiced Winter Fruit Salad
Lunch - Brunch- Dinner
6 navel oranges, supremed* (reserve juice)
- 2 grapefruit, supremed* (reserve juice)
1/4 cup Maine-ly Drizzle Cara Cara Orange-Vanilla Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 cup reserved citrus juice
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- pinch of nutmeg
- pinch of cloves
- 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
Combine Cara Cara Orange-Vanilla Balsamic Vinegar, honey, and reserved citrus juice in a small saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil and then immediately reduce heat. Simmer until mixture reduces and becomes thicker (about 15-20 minutes).
Stir in cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves. Cool slightly.
Place orange and grapefruit sections in a serving bowl. Carefully pour warm spiced syrup over citrus. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours. Before serving citrus, sprinkle with pomegranate seeds.
