Ingredients
- Refrigerated roll out pizza dough or make your own homemade dough
- Blue Cheese or Gorgonzola (I used Bayley Hazen Blue from Jasper Cellars)
- Fontina Cheese (approx 4 ounces grated)
- Fresh Arugula
- Whole shelled walnuts
- Prosciutto (approx 3 ounces)
-
1 Jar Balsamic Fig Mostarda Spread
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
In a small pan on stove top over medium heat quickly toast your walnuts. (Careful not to burn)
On a lined baking sheet (I used parchment paper), roll out your dough. Spread a thin layer of Balsamic Fig Mostarda Spread as a base.
Add your grated Fontina cheese, walnuts, prosciutto pieces and chunks of blue cheese.
Bake for approx 15 minutes on 425 degrees (or until crust is nice and golden).
Remove from oven and top with fresh arugula leaves, a little more blue cheese if desired and serve.
