Ingredients
- 1 6-8 lb. beef brisket or 2 smaller 3 lb. briskets
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
-
1/2 cup Maine-ly Drizzle’s Kansas City Steak Seasoning
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
- 1 cup KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauce
Directions
First Day: Place Brisket, fat side up, on a large double sheet of foil in a baking dish. Mix all the other ingredients together (except the BBQ Sauce) and pour over the brisket. Seal the foil over the brisket and place in the refrigerator overnight.
Second Day: On the morning of the second day, remove the brisket from the refrigerator and keep covered. Cook for 4 hours at 300°. Cool the covered brisket in the refrigerator until 1 hour before serving, overnight if possible.
To serve, discard the foil and any excess fat that has formed. Slice the brisket across the grain with a sharp knife and pour the BBQ Sauce over the meat. Reheat at 350° for 30 minutes. Serve with additional BBQ Sauce if desired.
