Mexican Kiwi Glaze Chicken Skewers

Ingredients

  • 1 Jar of Kiwi Lime Salsa Verde

  • 1½ pounds boneless & skinless (cut into 1 ½ inch pieces)

  • 2 tbsp Cumin ground

  • 2 Limes

  • Kosher Salt

  • Fresh Ground Pepper

  • Olive Oil

  • 1tbsp Honey

  • Picked cilantro leaves

  • 2 Garlic Cloves

  • Bamboo skewers

Directions

  1. Cut your chicken into 1 ½ inch pieces. Mix together honey, 2 limes juiced, 2 teaspoon of lime zest, garlic, salt & pepper. Place chicken in marinade and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

  2. Soak bamboo skewers in water for at least 20 minutes (keeps them from burning on the grill). Preheat Grill. Thread chicken onto skewers.

  3. Drizzle with a bit of olive oil. Grill for approx 3-4 minutes on each side until each side is charred a bit/or has nice grill marks. Remove chicken from grill.

  4. Heat in saucepan ⅔ jar of Wozz! Kiwi Salsa Verde. Bring to a gentle simmer. Add chicken skewers and cover. Let cook for about 5 minutes.

  5. Remove glazed chicken from sauce. Serve over rice. Pour the warm Salsa Verde sauce over the skewers. Top fresh picked cilantro leaves and a pinch of salt and pepper. Enjoy!!
